Asia-Pacific Regional Wholesale Markets Working Group (APRG) is one of the regional section of World Union of Wholesale Markets (WUWM), which was established in 2008, chaired by WUWM Board member Mr.Zengjun Ma, Chairman of the China Agricultural Wholesale Markets Association (CAWA), with the aim to intensify regional collaboration and provide focus and support to the specific interest areas of members in Asia–Pacific area, whose concrete activities are undertaken by CAWA.


APRG is open to all wholesale and retail markets and /or their national and regional associations.


APRG aims to promote the regional exchange of communication and cooperation through organizing regional conferences and specialized meetings, making media propaganda, collecting data on markets, constructing website, exchanging information and so on to ensure the sustainable availability and distribution of variety of quality fresh food, whilst maintaining competitive prices and the highest standards of service and food security throughout the Asia-Pacific Region.


The APRG committee is the core of guidance of APRG. It is committed to promoting the communciation among wholesale/retail markets, governments, traders and producers to build a platform which can settle issues, enhance the construction and management level of the markets and strengthen the trade cooperation within this area.  APRG will converge eliets from the agricutlrual circulation industry from Asia-Pacific area to promote the development of the agricultural circulation industry.
